Over a span of 22 years of existence, Cultural Research Centre has conducted over 10 research projects successfully which resulted into the following publications: 1) Basoga Traditional Concept of Marriage; 2) Witchcraft, Divination and Healing in Busoga; 3) The Concept of Good Luck and Bad Luck among the Basoga; 4) The Ritual Gestures among the Basoga; 5) Traditional Religion and Clans among the Basoga; 6) Sustainable Utilization of Herbal Medicine in Busoga; 7) Celebrating the Sanctity of Human Life among the Basoga; 8) Where Kisoga Culture Meets Christianity; 9) Reconciliation Rites among the Basoga; 10) the interrelationship between Kisoga Culture and Christianity and 11) the Evolution of Busoga’s 11 Hereditary Chiefdoms; 12) Utilizing Clans to promote Socio-Economic Development in Busoga Sub-region (Busoga Clan Leaders’ Manual) 13) The Effects of Domestic Violence on the Socio-economic Development of Busoga and 14) Kisoga Value System Manual.

Cultural Research Centre (CRC) is a Faith Based NGO founded by the Diocese of Jinja in 1997.

We have been part of the CRC since December, 1998.  This was one year after the opening of the Centre.
